Booking Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Dive Station Pattaya!

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the booking and reservation of Dive Trips and PADI Courses with Dive Station Pattaya.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Thailand. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Prices

All Prices Listed In local Currency, Thai Baht and are valid until further notice.

Payment

Online booking & reservations require a deposit, this payment is accepted via Paypal’s secure online payment gateway. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and debit cards via this system. You do not need a Paypal account. We also accept direct bank transfers. Once your deposit has being confirmed your reservation will be completed and you’ll receive an email notification of this. The remaining balance is paid in person via cash, credit/debit card once you arrive at our dive centre store for your day trip / PADI course.

 

Exchange Rates

We always use the current exchange rate at the time of guests inquiries and bookings. We do not manipulate foreign exchange rates. If we quote a foreign currency price during an initial enquiry, this will be for INDICATION PURPOSES ONLY, as the exchange rates may  have changed by the time a booking is confirmed and payment requested. We use the exchange rate provided by Paypal at the time of transactions to calculate exchange rates

Unforeseen Circumstances

In the unlikely event that a dive trip / PADI Course is cancelled due to bad weather, or rough and dangerous sea conditions, guests are entitled to a full refund, minus any credit card charges we incur, which are around 3% and/or the cost of any PADI Materials purchased.

Liability

Dive Station Pattaya  cannot be held responsible, or in any way liable, for property losses, personal losses, accidents, injury, or death for any reason whatsoever, whether through any activities booked through us, or caused to you buy third parties connected, or not connected to us. We will not be liable, for any additional expenses incurred by customers, for any reasons whatsoever. If a complaint is received about a trip, for any reason, Dive Station Pattaya will agree to investigate and may act upon the complaint dependent upon our findings.

Dive trip customers will be required to read and sign the  Boat Travel Standard Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement, before they start their dive trip.

Guests enrolling on PADI courses will be required to sign a Medical Liability Release form by your instructor before your PADI course commences. Download PDF version here.

Insurance

We recommend that if you intend to go scuba diving, you make sure you have an insurance policy that covers this activity. There are several insurance companies to choose from. We recommend, Divers Alert Network (DAN) a non-profit group run by scuba divers, for scuba divers.

Medical Issues

Please see your Doctor, before coming to Thailand, if you are concerned about any medical conditions, or need information regarding vaccinations. You will be required to sign a Medical Liability Release Form by your instructor before your PADI course commences. You can download the Medical Liability Release Form in PDF format here
