You have chosen SSI Diamond e-learning. This requires a deposit of THB5000 (or you can choose to pay the full amount) to access the learning materials so you can get a head start on the required theory work before you arrive at the Dive Centre and avoid sitting a classroom while it’s sunny outside.

Who Should Take The SSI Open Water Course?

 

Our SSI Open Water Diver Course is for complete beginners to learn to dive.  As first time divers learn over 3 days, after which you’ll be certified for life with your own SSI Open Water diving licence! Sign up, learn to dive, have some fun with our highly experienced SSI Professionals! Once you have this certification you can dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 18m.

What we include:

What you need to Bring:

  1. A willingness to learn
  2. Swimsuit or Swim Shorts to wear under your wetsuit
  3. Any Dive Gear you may have – some people already have masks
  4. Towel
  5. SUNSCREEN, hat & Sunnies you’ll be outside a lot
  6. Snacks for the boat

Prerequisites:

  1. Minimum age 10 years
  2. Ability to Float for 10min
  3. Ability to Swim 200 metres*
  4. Be medically fit according to the medical statement. (Download Here)
  5. Must like to have fun

What’s Involved:

  • 3 Days Training
  • Dive Theory Learning
  • Shallow water skills training, usually in a swimming pool
  • Swim & Float test*
  • 2 scuba dives to 12m max
  • 2 scuba dives to 18m max
*If you can not swim 200 metres there is an option to snorkel 300m, however, recommend if this the case you take the 2 day SSI SCUBA DIVER course first and then try to get some proper swimming lessons before upgrading to Open Water.
