SSI Waves, Tides & Currents gives you the skills and knowledge required to conduct dives from shore, in currents, and in different types of waves.
Students completing this program earn the SSI Waves, Tides and Currents Specialty certification after completing this program.

What are the prerequisites for this course?
If you’re an Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enrol in the SSI Waves, Tides and Currents Specialty course.

What you need to Bring:
- A willingness to learn
- Any Dive Gear you may have – some people already have masks
- Towel
- SUNSCREEN, hat & Sunnies you’ll be outside a lot
- Snacks for the boat
