The SSI Advanced Adventurer course is all about excitement and experience. You don’t need to be an experienced diver to take this course, in fact, you continue on after you completed your SSI Open Water course. (You’ll get instruction that is more specific to your diving abilities if you can complete this course with your Open Water Instructor). This course will increase your confidence and scuba diving knowledge in order for you to become more comfortable in the water.

It’s a great way of getting more  dives under your belt under the close supervision of your instructor and the course consists of 5 dives over 2 days.

*If you are already a certified diver, one of our experienced instructors will talk to you in order to create the best Advanced Adventurer course for you. Please note that only if you choose to undertake the Deep Dive as one of your 5 dives you will be certified to 30m

WHO SHOULD TAKE THE SSI ADVANCED ADVENTURER COURSE?

 

The SSI Advanced Adventurer Course is at its heart an experience program for new and inexperienced divers, experience five different open water dives from five SSI Specialty programs without requiring you to complete the entire Specialty. If you are unsure of your next step, this is the perfect way to advance your dive skills and experience and to identify which Specialty programs interest you.

How Long Does It Take? What Training is Involved?

The Advanced Adventurer course is 2 days training, with 5 training dives in the ocean to 30m max (if you take the deep dive option). You will plan and dive 5 dives before which, you’ll complete some online learning

What we include:

  1. Diamond SSI e-Learning Materials & Certification Fees
  2. SSI Scuba Diving Instructor
  3. Full scuba equipment rental
  4. Boat trips and transfers
  5. x5 dives from our dive boat
  6. Lunch & Refreshments on the boat
  7. Daily changing  dive sites

What you need to Bring:

  1. A willingness to learn
  2. Your Open Water Cert card or equivalent
  3. Your Divers Log Book
  4. Swimsuit or Swim Shorts to wear under your wetsuit
  5. Any Dive Gear you may have – some people already have masks
  6. Towel
  7. SUNSCREEN, hat & Sunnies you’ll be outside a lot
  8. Snacks for the boat

Prerequisites:

  1. Be 12 years old or older.
  2. Be Certified as SSI Open Water diver or equivalent
  3. Be medically fit according to the medical statement. (Download Here)
